The Epson Ecotank and Unsplash.com

I got an printer from the Epson Ecotank line a while back. Recently I realized that with free photos from Unsplash.com, this enabled me to, if I so chose, wallpaper my home with 8.5″x14″ (legal paper – get it at office depot just like the regular stuff). Since the Epson Ecotank allows you to print many hundreds or even thousands of pages for little money, this became a decorating possibility. And Unsplash supplies a millions of high resolution pictures to use. [ I have received nothing for this post ]. I got the cheapest of the Ecotanks at 200 dollars which prints unsightly horizontal lines that are lighter than the rest across for full size photos. Sometimes stronger, sometimes lighter, but they turn out not to matter very much for wallpapers, or academic or office stuff. It may be possible to get a good photo print with the right settings and not full page printing, I don’t know, I haven’t tried. I would hope this does not happen with the more expensive models. But all in all fantastic! I will add photos and all the credits I saved that I can find now. I am well on my way to having a large percentage of my house covered in pictures!
