Three Things to Teach

Each inner persona has different things to say
But all are in accord on one thing:
The path forward
Into the dark
Into the unknown
Carrying the lantern of hermit & crone
Lifting it high, lighting the path
Carrying courage, compassion, fear
“I have but three things to teach:
simplicity, patience, compassion”¹
Anyone could write this
But only one someone did
Remember the way forward
Sun follows moon follows dusk
Light is cast into shadows
Shadows are cast into noonday sun
