Announcement 6/24/2024: The World Ocean Review has released World Ocean Review 8: The Ocean – A Climate Champion? How to Boost Marine Carbon Dioxide Uptake. This is a peer-reviewed (but not original research) publication which is put together like a textbook accessible for a general reading audience. You can read it online, download it as one or several PDFs, or order a paper copy free of charge (and free shipping!). Also available in a German language edition (it is created by a consortium of entities and published by the German nonprofit maribus). I imagine if you could muster the skills, time, and human-power to translate it and a matching website into Mandarin, Spanish, French, Swahili, Arabic, Hindi or Japanese they might welcome a collaboration! They also welcome any efforts to share more widely the availability & existence of World Ocean Review.
