Some good pointers from a guy who spends and has spent the time to understand how complex the basics are when you get down to it, and how to value the fundamental basics. Poorly worded I know, but I’ve spent enough time on this.
Quoted from one Will Larson: “Often, the role of the great leader is not to come up with a brilliant strategy, but to convince people to stay the course with a very basic strategy.”
Bottom line from Adam Keys himself: “Any given present/actual strategy is likely to outperform no strategy. So definitely have a strategy, even if it is simple or your first try at having a strategy.”
Also reminds me of the fragment from Jenny Odell’s ‘How to Do Nothing: Resisting the Attention Economy’ I put up on the bottom of the page over at https://www.savetheoxygen.org/excerpts.html . Need to go back and add an id attribute so it can be linked to directly, but right now, trying to get out the door to work at the co-working space.
