We the People [citation needed] — (4/4/2023)

We the People [citation needed] saw through all their junk.
— We saw through all their junk and we took it away from them and slapped them with it like a rubber hose
We the People [citation needed] felt satisfied but not satiated
— We were here and there and everywhere, while the plotters pretended to be and tried to appear to be nowhere
We the People [citation needed] would now come into our power
— In this tale by turns sordid & harrowing we can now relate blow by blow, how it all had come to be, barring [SEE DISCLAIMER, GRAND JURY REGULATIONS, AND DOCUMENTATIONS OF IMMUNITY] those the many parts we could not.
— How to begin it?
— One day under the endless starry skies, on a rough orb, twirling through the vacancy, We the People [citation needed] were shouting and clamoring and marking down which One of Us [clarification needed] would henceforth be the one to occupy and exist in a certain special house
— There was no noise but clamor and there was no silence but mutterings
One of Us [clarification needed] took a shot at explaining it over the millions of Glowing Rectangles [conflict of interest]
— Some would say that the contest had been foreordained by the infinitely wise A Horde of Kittens [disputed — discuss], while others cried that it was travesty and disaster. Some even went so far as to declare that it was both.
— But in the end there was a choosing
— In the end we saw that it was horror
— The End was only The Beginning, of course
— But that is a tale for another time

The first draft of this poem was written on the day of Trump’s first indictment, 4/4/2023 I think. We the People [citation needed] later made a second appearance in Transient Formation of Flock of Multiconsciousness’ Islets, which is altogether weirder and more involved with technical concepts of math, linguistics and philosphy, touching on them not an in depth analysis, a tangled knot of references which you may be surprised what direction you exit it from!

Also, while you’re here, check out my proposal for some new amendments to the United States’ constitution (and strong recommendation against all efforts to call an article V constitutional convention which would have, essentially, no rules. Looking at the details on this image over at Unsplash I am struck by the inclusion of ‘diary’ among the tags. With the new year coming up, perhaps we might consider if these pages would be good additions to remind people of the scope of their rights and duties to the reference pages of calendars and planners and bullet journals and whatnot, and someone should track down mick haupt to find this book and figure out who owns the copyright to the words if the publisher can’t be found by web search or something….
